About This Event
The Ethiopian Society of Anesthesiologists, Critical Care and Pain Medicine Physicians (ESACCPMP) joins the global anesthesia community in commemorating World Anaesthesia Day on October 16, 2026.As part of this celebration, the Society is organizing an online educational discussion on Pediatric Regional Anesthesia, focusing on how regional anesthesia can help children experience less pain, reduce opioid use, and recover more comfortably after surgery.
The session will feature a presentation by Dr. Yosef Animut, Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow, moderated by Dr. Rediet Assefa, Pediatric Anesthesiologist. The discussion aims to strengthen professional knowledge, promote child-centered anesthesia care, and encourage the use of appropriate pain management strategies in pediatric patients.
